Jason Turner was the 79th person in Canada to receive the famous 'Edmonton Protocol' in 2005.
 

2 Transplants, 5 years later, he is insulin independent, and realizing a quality of life he barely dreamed possible.

Jason is dedicated to helping people and their families live well with diabetes.  Through speaking of his own experiences, he shares his ups and downs with diabetes, and the eventual road to a ground-breaking therapy that was once heralded as a cure, but unfortunately it is not what all people and parents with type 1 diabetes are searching for.

Jason is passionate about his story - the struggles, the complications, the research and the transplant.  He guarantees that your jaw will drop at least once during his talks.
